The Senior Business Systems Engineer shall provide for agile business systems software engineering to include analysis of business needs and systems flow, and shall determine data storage and usage requirements while engineering solutions to facilitate business work processes.

  • The Senior Business Systems Engineer shall perform the following tasks:

  • Provide engineering support for NTRMS.

  • Support all aspects of software engineering including the integration of platforms and features across multiple subsystems.

  • Support the Government in system lifecycle sustainment operations for software configuration, testing, training, release, and operations.

  • Analyze information and user requirements, design and debug software, document software.

  • Provide software testing, problem solving, requirements collection, stakeholder collaboration, user support, and system maintenance.

  • Integrate web systems with back-end databases.

  • Write easy to read, maintainable, and testable code in languages such as C# and JavaScript.


  • The Senior Business Systems Engineer shall have 5 or more years of experience in business systems engineering and skills in modern programming languages, including Microsoft (MS) VB.NET, MS C#.NET, MS SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), MS ASP.NET WebForms and MVC, MS Internet Information Server (IIS), HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and MS Visual Studio, and structured query language database servers.

  • Prior experience working in the NSW community is highly desired.

  • Must be motivated, self-driven team player who can interact well with others and advise/consult with other team members on related issues

  • Must have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Will be required to undergo and pass applicable background checks.

  • In accordance with DoD 8570.01; Candidate must meet the Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II requirements by having one of the following certifications: GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Sec, Cissp, Cisa, CASP, GCIH, GSEC, or GCED)
